Cambridgeshire Police Federation has paid tribute to traffic officer PC Andreas Newbery on the 20th anniversary of his death.
Andreas died on 5 February 2003 after being struck by a vehicle at the scene of a road accident on the A1 near Alconbury.
Branch chair Liz Groom said: “He will always be fondly remembered as a kind and decent gentleman who was taken far too soon. Our thoughts will be with his family, friends and former colleagues today.”
