ABBE Level 3 Certificate in Fire Risk Assessment (RQF)

Welcome to the exciting world of the Awarding Body of the Built Environment (ABBE) Level 3 Certificate in Fire Risk Assessment—a qualification proudly regulated by Ofqual.

In response to the Government’s Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (RRO), which mandates fire risk assessments by a ‘competent’ person, this certification is your gateway to becoming that expert professional.

Designed for aspiring fire risk assessors, whether in-house or external consultants acting as a ‘competent person’ under the RRO, this qualification equips you with the necessary knowledge and skills. The goal is not only to demonstrate your capability in conducting fire risk assessments but also to validate your occupational competence at the required depth.

Achieving this certification unlocks a world of opportunities, allowing you to specialize in the fire risk assessment sector. Over five engaging days, our course, offered by Kaden Fire Safety, provides a comprehensive understanding of the legal and regulatory aspects of Fire Risk Assessment, along with hands-on training on how to conduct one.

Course Highlights:

Duration: Five days of immersive learning.

The day starts at 9:00 am (registration at 8:45 am) and will finish at 5:00 pm.

Who is this course designed for?

This course caters to those aspiring to be ‘competent persons’ for fire risk assessments, as mandated by the RRO. Perfect for in-house fire risk assessors and independent consultants, these qualifications are tailored to showcase your ability to excel in this crucial role.

Qualification structure

There are 4 mandatory units which must be completed.

The training combines theory sessions with practical exercises and case studies to enhance your learning experience.

Certification and Assessment:

Upon course completion, you will need to submit a Portfolio of evidence. An assigned assessor will guide you through the process, and you have a six-month window to finalise the portfolio. Successfully completing this step will result in earning the ABBE Accredited Level 3 Certificate in Fire Risk Assessment (RQF)
