And Liz sends her congratulations to Darryl Preston, after he was re-elected as Police and Crime Commissioner for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

Branch secretary Scott Houghton called on the new government to repair the ‘strained’ relationship between the police service and political leaders.

Scott also renews calls for the police pay review process to be changed.

Sergeant Becky Jones talks about her journey to becoming a police dog handler.

We hear about the successes of Cambridgeshire Police’s Rural Crime Action Team, which has recovered almost £1 million-worth of stolen property in the past year.

Retired Chief Inspector Keren Pope talks to Fedline about taking part in the Police Unity Tour in aid of Care of Police Survivors (COPS) and what the annual event means to her.
And there’s an invite for members to try their hand at adaptive and disability sports.

It’s all in the summer edition of Fedline, which is available online now.
