The spring edition of Fedline, the Cambridgeshire Police Federation magazine, is available now.

The magazine looks at policing the pandemic one year on from the first lockdown, including professional and personal reflections from Liz Groom, Cambridgeshire Police Federation branch chair, and the mental health support available for officers.

There’s a focus on the new Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill and what it means for welfare and legal protection for officers, for Specials being able to join the Federation and for legal protection for police drivers.

Pete Wright chats about the highs and lows of a 57-year career as he takes retirement.

And there’s a round-up of news including nominations being open for this year’s Women in Policing Award, the Federation’s support for the National Day of Reflection and much more.
