Cambridgeshire Police Federation is working in partnership with the National Police Healthcare Scheme to offer affordable healthcare to officers, staff and their families.
The scheme was created by police officers in 1989 and remains overseen by eight trustees, all serving officers, who make sure that the scheme is delivered on a not-for-profit basis.
Police officers (of all ranks), police staff, their spouses/partners and children can join the scheme.
- Deductions are made from the salary
- Serving officers and staff receive three months’ free membership
- Student officers receive 12 months’ membership from the date of joining Cambridgeshire Police Federation
- No medical declarations or assessments are required to join
- In addition, FREE membership of the Police Treatment Centres is included as standard for all officers and staff.
