Elections process begins: become a Fed rep

Have you ever fancied being a Fed rep? Now is your chance to stand.

The election process has started, with nominations open until 24 January 2025. Voting will take place between 3 and 25 February, with the results announced on 27 February.

Any Cambridgeshire Police Federation member, from PC to chief inspector, including Specials, can nominate themselves and stand for election as a workplace rep. Information on how to put yourself forward as a Fed rep should have been emailed to all members.

Should candidates be successful, then they will automatically become part of their local Branch Council. From there, they can stand to be on the local Branch Board and then stand for a regional or a national role if they would like to.

Those from under-represented groups are being encouraged to put themselves forward to help better reflect the diversity of the membership and the communities the police serve.
