There is still time for Cambridgeshire Police Federation members to vote for the colleagues they want to be their workplace representatives.
Chair Liz Groom is encouraging members to engage in the election process and help shape the future direction of the branch.
Voting is open now via an online portal and closes on Sunday 23rd February.
Members will have received an email with information on the first round of elections, including how to take part in the vote.
The results will be announced on Thursday 27 February.
Liz said: “Members will have received an email with information on this round of elections, including how to take part in the vote.
“Please take the time to find out about the candidates standing for election, and who you think will best represent you and your colleagues.
“These elections are an opportunity to have your say in your Federation, and to help drive it forward. Please make your vote count.”
Elections are being held in all of the Federation branches, and in the national Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW).
Those successful in the workplace reps election will form the new Cambridgeshire Police Federation Branch Council. They can then put themselves forward to be elected to the Federation executive, the Branch Board, and, from there, a regional or a national role.
