Today marks the 22nd anniversary of the loss of Cambridgeshire PC Alan Lee.

Alan, who was 37, died when his scooter was in collision with a bus as he reported for duty at Thorpe Wood Police Station on 10 September 2002.

“Today we remember Alan and the service he gave to the Force and the communities we serve,” says Liz Groom, chair of Cambridgeshire Police Federation.

“Our thoughts are with Alan’s family, friends and colleagues as they continue to feel Alan’s loss.”
