Cambridgeshire Police Federation members are being urged to complete this year’s Demand, Capacity and Welfare Survey before it’s too late.
The national Federation survey gives members the chance to help shape Federation policy on a range of issues including policing the Covid-19 crisis. Members have until 16 November to take part.
Cambridgeshire branch chair Liz Groom said: “This is unequivocally one of the most important surveys we’ve asked our members to complete. For many, it’s the first chance to comment on how they’ve personally been impacted whilst policing the pandemic. It’s vital we get a clear picture of how our members feel.
“It will enable us to spell out the issues affecting everyone in the Force.”
The 2020 survey is the third of its kind and the results will be compared with those of the 2016 and 2018 surveys in which the average job satisfaction rating for Cambridgeshire was 3/10, 84 per cent said their workload was too high and 87 per cent indicated health and wellbeing issues.
Liz added: “I would urge all members: please take the time to have your say.”
Members who have not received a link to the 2020 survey should contact the Federation branch for further information by emailing cambridgeshire@polfed.org
