The latest edition of Cambridgeshire Police Federation’s Fedline magazine is out now.

Printed copies will be circulated around the Force and you can also read it online.

This edition features Scott Houghton who has taken over from Oz Merrygold as branch secretary. Scott says he aspired to his new job for many years after seeing the good work that Oz did but that his priority is to develop the skills of the branch’s workplace representatives so they can better represent and support members.

The autumn Fedline also includes coverage of this year’s virtual National Police Memorial Day service which members were encouraged to watch online. HRH The Prince of Wales, Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Home Secretary Priti Patel all paid tribute to fallen officers.

Cambridgeshire Police Federation chair Liz Groom welcomes the decision by the Home Secretary to enshrine a Police Covenant in law and workplace representative Kevin Misik is also introduced.

Other articles highlight the Force receiving an extra £300,000 for ‘coronavirus enforcement’ and our bravery award nominees Sergeants Dan Bramley and Nick Ashton-Jones.
