The Police Federation of England and Wales’s annual conference starts today and members in Cambridgeshire can join in online.

Hosted by broadcaster Ian Collins, the conference brings together decision makers, key stakeholders, and policing experts to discuss the issues facing members and the service.

The agenda for day one includes discussions on leadership in policing, Home Office review impact on independent panels, and disclosure and redaction, as well as retirement, misogyny, and Mutual Aid.

Industrial rights and wellbeing will be explored on day two when there will be a keynote address from PFEW chair Steve Hartshorn and a Q&A panel session.

The conference will also recognise outstanding contributions to policing through the presentation of awards for excellence in roads policing, detectives, and women in policing.
