Tributes have been paid to DC Karen Paterson on the 10th anniversary of her death.

Karen died on her way home from night duty at Peterborough when her car was in collision with another vehicle at Langtoft in Lincolnshire on 6 January 2012. She was 44.

Cambridgeshire Police Federation chair Liz Groom said: “The police service is a tight-knit community and the loss of any officer is always deeply felt by their colleagues.

“Today marks the 10th anniversary of Karen’s death but her loss is still felt today by all those who knew her.

“The thoughts of myself and everyone at Cambridgeshire Police Federation are with Karen’s family, friends and colleagues on this difficult day.”
