Cambridgeshire Police Federation chair Liz Groom has paid tribute to DCI Kenneth Hunt, who died on 23 October 1981.

Kenneth (48) was returning to police headquarters when he lost control of his car which left the road and crashed into a Fenland waterway near Ramsey.

Liz said: “Our thoughts today are with Kenneth’s family, his friends and his former colleagues. It is important that we remember those colleagues who pay the ultimate price when serving our communities.”
