Cambridgeshire Police Federation chair Liz Groom has paid tribute to PC Alan Lee who died on this day 20 years ago.
Alan (37) died on 10 September 2002 when his scooter was in collision with a bus. He was outside Thorpe Wood police station reporting for duty at the time.
“Our thoughts and sympathies remain with Alan’s family, friends and colleagues. We always remember our fallen colleagues and their loved ones remain a part of our policing family,” says Liz.
