Cambridgeshire Police Federation members attending this year’s National Police Memorial Day in are being advised of a change of venue.
The service will now take place at the New Theatre, Cardiff on Sunday 24 September.
It comes after the previous venue, St David’s Hall, was closed due to the presence of reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC) panels in the building.
Doors will now open at 12.30pm, with everyone seated by 1.30pm for the service to start at 2pm.
There’s still time to register to attend the event. The booking system will close on Wednesday 20 September.
People who have already registered don’t need to take any further action.
A reception planned for the evening of Saturday 23 September has been cancelled as the venue is not available.
